Inside Nagoya

Nagoya Castle
Characterize by the gold "shachi" adorning the roof. This castle was built in 1612 by Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Tokugawaen
Enjoy the many blooming flowers in the Japanese Daimyou garden and enjoy a walk around the pond that is located in the center.

The Tokugawa Art Museum
The museum preserves the extensive holding of the Tokugawa family including famous 12th century illustrated scroll Tale of Genji.

Shirotori Garden
Traditional Japanese style garden which has beautiful Koi pond, trees and flowers.

Atsuta Shrine
The Atsuta Shrine is the 2nd largest shrine after Ise Shrine and about 6.5 million people visit here annually.

Arimatsu Area
The town has a history of approximately 400 years of the tie-dyeing process for kimono fabric.

Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology
Established under the cooperation of 13 companies of the Toyota Group, it introduces the technological transition in the textile and the automobile industries through the exhibition and demonstration of the actual machine.

Noritake Garden
You can enjoy seeing old Noritake, shopping, restaurant and hand painting workshop.

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
Dynamic dolphin shows, are held daily in one of the largest pools in the world.
